BCPS Hosts Back to School READY Events

Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) is hosting Back to School READY events on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. at three convenient locations across the District:

  • Atlantic Technical College, Building #2, Room 122, 4700 Coconut Creek Parkway, Coconut Creek, 33063
  • Atlantic Technical College – Arthur Ashe, Jr. Campus, Gym, 1701 N.W. 23rd Ave., Fort Lauderdale, 33311
  • Sheridan Technical College, Building 12, Stage Area, 5400 Sheridan St., Hollywood, 33021

These events are designed to help families prepare for a successful start to the 2025/26 school year by providing access to essential services and resources, including:

  • Help with registration, transportation services and meal applications
  • School immunizations (parent/guardian must be present)
  • Meeting with representatives from various departments on grade-level expectations, tutoring, academic support and FAST assessment guidance
  • Assistance from Exceptional Student Education, Student Services, Homeless Education Assistance Resource Team and school counselors
  • Support in accessing and using the Focus parent portal

Additionally, families new to BCPS will receive personalized support to help make their transition into the District smooth and welcoming.

“We are excited for the new school year and committed to championing the success of our students and families before they walk onto school campuses on day one,” said BCPS Superintendent Dr. Howard Hepburn.
